Sapa Town
Sapa town has been changing and developed a lot to this day. In the past 30 years, ago used to be a small town, heritage and there were not many hotels in Sapa town 30 years ago. Some of the first hotels in Sapa now need to change the style of building because there are many new buildings hotels and many competition.

Sapa town was founded by the French in 1903 the french decided to choose Sapa as a place to relax. In the XX century, Sapa Town Mountain was very mother nature and there was nobody who came here just only the ethnic minorities living here, that way during the lunar New Year the Vietnamese people who living here goingh home to visit their families from different parts of Vietnam.

The local people in Sapa used to call Sapa become Sa Pả but some of the Vietnamese living in the south of Vietnam can not pronounce Sa Pả so they call sapa, the meaning of Sa Pả is sand.
Sapa Chruch was a colony by the French and was built in 1935 the church was built all of the marble and designed like French style.
Sapa town is in north Vietnam the altitude is 1.600m above sea level and from Ha Noi to Sapa is about 317 km, sapa is on the way from Loa Cai City to Lai Chau City.

sapa weather has 2 different seasons between summer time and winter time. In the winter time the weather it’s wet and rain showers, sometimes it may take 2 weeks to get sunny. It’s very hard to tell about the weather in what is gonna be like in winter, on some days Sapa town was very sunny and down the valley of the village was cold and foggy.
Summertime will be very hot and 4 seasons in a day, in the morning the weather temperature like springtime and lunchtime like autumn.

Sapa has 6 different ethnic groups, there are Tay, Xa Pho, Zay, Kinh Hmong, and Red Dao all these minorities speak different languages when they want to communicate with each other and understand each other they have to speak in the Vietnamese language.
